Damn, when Sougo's father started asking his assistant who was the one that pushed him really made me see how despicable he is, it's a great thing Tamaki was there with Sougo because I'm sure he would have caved really quickly if he was alone. I also found it interesting that Tamaki was playing dumb when he actually knew what Sougo's father was doing that entire time.

It was so satisfying to watch Tamaki vent out his thoughts to Sougo's father, but the "You're an embarrassment." was the best part, I like how that one line was enough to make him flinch since he's so uptight about Sougo not being an embarrassment to him.

I was surprised by Sougo and then the radio staff agreeing to play TRIGGER's song on the radio, I wonder if there'll be some kind of backlash on them for doing so.

I like how Tamaki kept it real, "We're not best friends but we'll continue working together." lol.

Every single Tamaki-related episode is brilliant. I'm constantly blown away by his emotional intelligence. He definitely keeps it real! He stays true to himself while communicating and analyzing complex emotions and situations. He was brought up in a harsh environment, so it makes sense that he was forced to become smart to survive, to protect himself and Aya. He's such an interesting character. I want to learn more about Tamaki and his past. I look forward to seeing more of Tamaki, I think everyone in the group can learn something from him.

Yeah idk, he never always been emotionaly intelligent as he acted as a spoiled brat (akin to Haruka) at the begining but he learned slowly and surely, his harsh environement made him harsh and brutally honest and only able to become "smart" only after getting closer to i7 boys especially Sogo

Still his developpement from first s1 to now is pretty good

I am actually amazed at how Tamaki's description of Sougo's father fits Ryou perfectly as well
With the difference being that when somebody told that to Ryou's face in gentler words (Ryuu), he literally brought whole unit down, while the dad took a step back in a "I don't approve, but I won't actively harm you anymore" style. It felt like the dude had a fleeting thought of "idk maybe I'm getting old, let's see where this will go". I definitely appreciate anime direction letting us soak in this tension a bit more, I chugged those lines in-game bc I was dying to see what will happen next lol

Honestly at this point I’m wondering why the show is called idolish7 when it’s been all about trigger since the 2nd season…
I understand them wanting to show the pov of different units, but rn I’m at a point where everything that goes down is because of trigger and they haven’t done anything to pay anyone back for it in no matter which season. And before anyone comes at me with wait they will get back on their feet eventually, I know, I’ve played the game no need to tell me…
I wanted to see more of Re:vale and ZOOL but instead I get trigger in both the second beat and third beat

If you've played the game, why are you even complaining? Firstly Re:vale got plenty of spotlight in S2 and the the first part of S3, and if you've actually played the game you would know that ZOOL takes the 2nd most spotlight in Part 4 after Idolish7 themselves. In fact Trigger has the least focus in that season. You're just speaking out of your personal bias lol.

huh, are we watching the same thing...? second and third beat are about everyone, second beat was 90% riku/iori center drama, re:vale drama, mitsuki drama and mezzo drama, third beat started off as ryou drama, then yamato hogged like 5 episodes for his arc then they kickstarted the tsukumo drama with friends day rehearsals in between. we barely see trigger in all of this. they are having their arc this season and even this ep was mostly mezzo?? i don't understand your point at all

I can highly relate to Sogo, because I also ended up going through some serious mental issues and still do to this day thanks to my shit parents. Him constantly talking about how he doesn't like himself hit me so hard, cause I understand him 100% so glad Tamaki stood up for him, and knew the right words to say to his scum father, and how he was so honest with the fans about his relationship with Sogo. The fans were sweet too to go all the way to support Sogo.

Also them playing Trigger song was a cool thing, hope it doesn't lead to more drama in future episodes though. This is why I truly love this anime, cause it doesn't try to so hard to make the characters all pure and happy go lucky, they got lots of mental issues, trauma, and fucked up backstories. They aren't entirely bad people, but not perfect either. Just normal relatable human beings with both flaws and good traits, and it shows the entertainment industry in a more realistic way as it's not all sunshine and rainbow.

It's a sweet episode. But in reality if they have the butler tested medically, they will see no injury at all.
